A 2023 Crain’s Business Chicago awardee for Women of Note in the Sciences, and a 2020 Girls Inc of Chicago awardee, Angela is passionate about gaining exposure for those underrepresented in design fields.

Angela's favorite building of chicago

The Monadnock Building is an architectural staple in Chicago's history. The building is a testament of a transitional era in construction: from load-bearing to steel-frame. This historic skyscraper is a fascinating example of architectural evolution and for educators and students alike, it is an invaluable case study in understanding the transition from traditional to modern construction methods. It stands as a tangible timeline of the technological advancements in the field of architecture.
