In his current role as Director of Civic and Industry Affairs, Michael coordinates initiatives aimed at making change in Chicago's built environment, directing thought leadership working groups, fellowships and residencies, as well as crafting innovative programs and experiences tailored for professional and adult audiences. Before joining CAC, Michael held the position of Director of Planning and Program Development at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. In this multifaceted role, he contributed to fundraising, institutional communications, audience and board development, and the expansion of new program initiatives. Michael's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Colorado College.
