Beverly (South): A Castle, Mansions and More

Stroll through Beverly’s historic district, admiring a Chicago castle, Frank Lloyd Wright designs, and post-Great Fire houses.

Unlike most of Chicago, the lots in Beverly are large—some as big as 1.5 acres. The houses also are large—most were constructed between 1890 and 1930 and each is unique. There are no tract houses on this tour. See the work of famous and not-so-famous architects who designed homes in a variety of styles.
