Favorite building of chicago

I have always appreciated the quiet confidence of Aon Center. The soaring vertical lines were always a ‘welcome back’ when I pulled into the city on weekends returning from home during my college years. In 2004 it stood in a dramatic new context, ascending from behind Gehry's new Jay Pritzker Pavilion. It may be the fourth tallest building in our skyline, but it's completely comfortable in itself even if you don’t’ know that.
