favorite building of chicago

Located on Michigan Avenue and surrounded by modern skyscrapers, the Cultural Center is tall and burly, epitomizing the beauty and resilience of Chicago, both inside and out. It survived the wrecking balls of the 60s and 70s that leveled countless historic buildings, only to find new life as the home to the City’s Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events and later the recipient of a $15m historic restoration of GAR Hall.
