Some buildings were designed to present a specific type of musical performance: an opera house, for example. Other buildings, such as a record store or a recording studio, are more informal in their relationship to the music contained within. This tour will explore buildings that play an important role in telling the story of Chicago's vibrant and eclectic music culture, from grand concert halls to legendary blues clubs.
