Andreason's career began as Executive Director at Archeworks, a socially focused architecture and design school, and he has since held various financial and administrative leadership roles in organizations dedicated to social service, arts, education, advocacy, and strategic consulting. Before his current role, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Forefront, Illinois’ statewide association for grantmakers, nonprofits, and advisors.
Andreason serves on the boards of Bright Promises Foundation, the Illinois State Treasurer's Charitable Trust Stabilization Fund, and United Philanthropy Forum. He is a Life Director and past Chair of the African American Legacy Fund and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Central Michigan University and both a Master of Nonprofit Management and a Master of Accounting from DePaul University.
