Other Ways to Give
In whatever way you choose to give, your financial contribution to the CAC makes you a partner in inspiring people to discover why design matters.

INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT (IRA) GIFTS
Giving from your IRA is a tax-efficient way to support the CAC.
Your IRA administrator will process the gift for you. Full details on how this process works and what information you’ll need from CAC can be found at the link below. Please be aware that when giving from your IRA, the entire gift qualifies as a charitable deduction, and CAC is prohibited from providing tangible goods or services, such as the buy-one-get-one-free River Cruise vouchers.
Note that we may not always receive donor names from sponsoring organizations. If you wish to receive an acknowledgment for your IRA gift, please ask your IRA administrator to include your name. Alternatively, you can inform us directly.
For more information, please contact Melissa Graham at 312-561-2113 or [email protected].
MATCHING GIFTS
Boost your support for the CAC by securing a matching contribution from your employer, doubling or even tripling your impact.
Simply include a matching gift form along with your donation to elevate your donor status and unlock enhanced benefits.
For information specific to your company, reach out to your personnel department. They will furnish you with a matching gift form, which you can fill out and submit with your individual contribution.
Donor Advised Fund
(and Family Foundation Contributions)
Contributing through a donor-advised fund or family foundation offers a flexible method to support CAC. Grants of any amount can be directed to the CAC.
Please be aware that when making a grant via these vehicles, the entire gift qualifies as a charitable deduction, and CAC is prohibited from providing tangible goods or services, such as the buy-one-get-one-free River Cruise vouchers.
Note that we may not always receive donor names from sponsoring organizations. If you wish to receive an acknowledgment for your DAF gift, please ask the sponsoring organization to include your name. Alternatively, you can inform us directly.
STOCK GIFTS
The CAC gratefully accepts support in the form of long-term appreciated stock. Most gifts of stock can be made directly from your brokerage account.
The process is simple. Inform your broker which stock and how many shares you wish to donate to the CAC and provide them with the banking information listed in the PDF below. The PDF should then be submitted to Melissa Graham. If you have any questions about stock donations, please email Melissa or call her at 312-561-2113.
MEMORIAL OR TRIBUTE GIFTS
A gift to the CAC on someone’s behalf is an excellent way to honor them while supporting the mission of the CAC. With a tribute gift, you can show your appreciation for someone in your life, honor the memory of a loved one, or thank a CAC docent.
For all tribute gifts, you will receive an acknowledgement of your gift with a letter. Should you choose to notify someone of your gift, a personal note will be sent to the honoree or the family of the person being memorialized.
Donors can choose to designate their tribute gifts to any area of programming or the general operating fund. Tribute gifts can be made online or by contacting [email protected].
Blueprint Society
The Blueprint Society recognizes individuals who make financial plans – in any amount – to benefit the future of the CAC. Their plans allow for the continued growth of the CAC's programs, tours, operations and exhibitions.
Through the Society, we honor and thank them for their commitment. Thank you to our current members!
The Blueprint society is open to all who have included the CAC in their financial plans. All you need to do is let us know. Complete and return the form below.
